Yeast Powder

Dry yeast, also known as dried baker's yeast and powder, unlike fresh yeast, can be added directly to the flour without having to dilute it in water, since baker's yeast acts before baking.  The dough must be left to ferment before it is suitable for making bread, since it generates a very uniform rise in dough.
